Blue Swirl Dangle Earrings

These earrings weren’t meant to follow the rules. They were shaped by instinct—fluid, bold, and a little unpredictable, just like the season that inspired them.

Hand-formed from white porcelain, painted with a bright blue underglaze, and outlined in 22K gold luster to highlight the curves and layered shapes. The result is striking yet grounded—sculptural, expressive, and made to move with you. Just a heads up: the backs of the charms are raw, unglazed white porcelain, since they rested directly on the kiln shelf during firing.

Each piece begins as raw clay, shaped by hand with care, then undergoes three separate firings—each lasting around 24 hours and reaching temperatures over 2,200°F. It’s a slow, intentional process, with every step infused with love to bring the piece to life.

Crafted in small batches with slight variations that make each pair uniquely yours.

Care Notes:
These earrings are made from porcelain and durable for everyday wear. But like any ceramic object (think: a favorite mug), they may crack if dropped on a hard surface. Remove before showering or sleeping, and handle with care to keep them looking their best.

CARE & MAINTENANCE

My ceramic jewelry is crafted to be comfortable and suitable for everyday wear—but like all ceramic objects, it’s still a glass-like material and deserves mindful care.

Think of your favorite mug: it holds up beautifully through daily use, but if dropped on a hard surface, it may crack. The same goes for ceramic jewelry. While durable, it’s not indestructible. To help your piece last, try to avoid tossing it in a bag, dropping it, or storing it loose with heavier items that could bump or chip it.

Here are a few tips to help your jewelry stay beautiful:

1. Treat it like wearable art: Each piece is slow-made with care—from shaping raw porcelain to glazing and firing it in the kiln multiple times.

2. Avoid water and chemicals: Remove before showering, swimming, or applying perfumes and lotions. While porcelain itself is water-resistant, the metal components and luster details can be affected over time.

3. Store thoughtfully: Keep pieces in a padded jewelry box, cloth pouch, or on a soft tray to prevent scratches or breakage.

SHIPPING & RETURNS

I offer flat-rate USPS shipping based on standard pricing and product weight, and orders typically ship within 1–3 business days. All sales are final, but if your piece arrives damaged or you experience an issue that may be related to craftsmanship, please reach out with a photo and a brief note—I’m always happy to take a look and see how I can help.

Because Lilikoi Project is a one-woman, small-batch studio, I don’t currently offer returns or exchanges; limiting returns allows me to focus my time and energy on creating new work.
