About Me

Hi, I’m Jill. I’m the maker behind Lilikoi Project.
I’m based in Chicago, and this is where I share the ceramic work I make and the story that comes with it. Creativity has always been part of my life, but ceramics entered it at a time when I was burned out and disconnected. I needed something slower and more real, and clay gave me that.
Working with clay is steady and physical. You try things, mess things up, learn what works, and keep going. That process helped me get back into my body and rebuild trust in myself, both as a maker and as a person.
I work mostly in porcelain and make each piece by hand in my home studio. I focus on jewelry, along with a small selection of other wares. I like when things show variation and a bit of imperfection. I’m not aiming for sameness or polish. I want the work to feel human.
I live with ADHD and anxiety, and creativity has been one of the most reliable ways I’ve learned to manage both. Making things helps me slow down, focus, and work through stress in a tangible way. That relationship with creativity is a big part of why this work exists.
Thanks for being here.
